Central Greece, Peloponnese, Epirus, Macedonia, Thrace.

Day 1: Meet your Licensed Guide and join a Panoramic day tour of Athens, including all the highlights, the Acropolis ( visit), the Acropolis Museum (visit), the Ancient Agora, the Old Town (Plaka & Monastiraki). Lunch at a traditional restaurant. Free time for shopping. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 2: Attica Tour. Visit Marathon battlefield and official Marathon Race departure, swim at Marathon bay and have lunch by the sea. Continue to Cape Sounion with Poseidon's Temple and the Athenian Riviera. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 3: Leave Athens to get to the Corinth Canal (short stop) and continue to the
most famous ancient greeks' healing center of Asklepios, in Epidaurus. Visit the site and its unique ancient Theater. Lunch and check into your charming hotel in Nafplion.
Afternoon visit of the Palamidi Fortress and then continue to Vivari fishing village to enjoy the beach and dinner. Overnight.

Day 4: Explore Tiryns and Mycenae, prehistorical sites. Lunch and afternoon at leisure to stroll in Nafplion. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 5: Discover Arcadia. After a coffee break in Vytina, continue to Dimitsana and its open air Water Museum. Lunch and continue with a stop at Stemnitsa, to relax at a traditional cafe of this charming village. Continue to Sparta area. Dinner. Overnight.

( OPTIONAL : a visit of the unique Monastery of St. John Prodromos and trekking at the Loussios Gorge, down to Ancient Gortyna for those who want to - the others, will get to Ancien Gortyna with the driver. This can be seen on the spot)

Day 6: Visit of Mystras with its Byzantine churches, houses and alleys, in the shade of its medieval fortress. Lunch at a little village and then head to Mani. Check in at your sea side hotel. Afternoon at leisure to swim. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 7:  Explore Mani. Areopolis, Diros Caves, Gerolimenas, Vatheia and Limeni. Lunch. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the pool or the beach of the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 8: Drive by the villages of Messinian Mani, with some stops to visit a little church or to have a coffee, towards Ancient Messini. Lunch and visit of its wonderful site. Late afternoon arrival at Pylos. Check in. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 9: Start this day with Pylos fort  and continue with Kyparissia . Stop to have lunch on the way to Olympia. Check in. Enjoy the pool. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 10: Visits of Olympia's site and Museum with your guide. Lunch. Drive towards Delphi via Nafpaktos, Galaxeidi ( coffee break) and Itea. Check in- hotel in Itea or Delphi. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 11: Morning visits of the site of Apollo's Oracle and of the Museum. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Meteora via Amfissa, Lamia & Trikala. Check into your hotel in Kalampaka or Kastraki. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 12: Tour of Meteora amazing land and visit one of its monasteries. Lunch. Afternoon drive to one of the most beautiful parts of Greece. Zagorohoria. Check in at your traditional hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 13: Explore the Zagoria authentic villages and have a taste of the world wide famous Vikos Gorge. Back to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 14:  Ioannina Cave and Lake island with its old monasteries and houses. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Naoussa or Dion. Check in. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 15:  Start with the visit of Aristotle's School where Alexander the Great was, and of the Macedonian Tombs at Lefkadia. Then continue to Posar Baths for a different experience ( swimming: optional). Lunch. Afternoon coffee break by the waterfalls of Edessa. Back to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 16: Morning departure via Egnatia Road to Thrace. On the way, visit of Philippi and the Baptistery of Lydia and lunch at Kavala. Afternoon arrival at Xanthi. Check in. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 17: Today you'll take the train from Xanthi to Stavroupoli to follow the meanders of Nestos river, crossing the Tempi. On the way back, you get off at Galani ( Toxotes) for lunch. Afternoon excursion to St. Nicolas and the lagoon. Optional swimming at the golden beach of Maggana. Back to Xanthi. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 18: Morning departure via Egnatia Road to Thessaloniki. Upon arrival, panoramic tour. Lunch at a traditional taverna. Check in. Afternoon at leisure to explore the city center with your guide or on your own. Dinner. Optional Sunset cruise to see the city from the  Thermaic Gulf. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 19: After breakfast, drive to Vergina to visit the magnificent Royal Tombs and the Gold of the Macedonians. Lunch. Continue via The National Road, by Mnt Olympus and the Peinios river Tempi to Mnt Pelion, Portaria village. Check in. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 20: A day to explore the mountain of the Centaurs with its 24 traditional villages. Possibility for a ride on "Mountzouris" charming train of De Kiriko, connecting the villages of Milies and Lehonia. Back to Portaria. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 21: Morning visit of Volos and its exceptional archaeological Museum. Lunch at a "tsipouradiko" traditional restaurant by the sea. Departure via E75, for a short visit of Thermopiles on the way to Athens. Late afternoon check in. Dinner. Overnight.
